(Glendale, AZ – August 18, 2008) --- Global Spectrum, managers of University of Phoenix Stadium, announced today that as part the stadium’s second year anniversary, and 3rd year event schedule, monthly prize packages will be given away from September through March. The “Sweetest Season” prize packages celebrate the fact that the stadium will be hosting its first ever college basketball events in addition to its busy schedule of NFL games, consumer shows, and family events. To promote the contests, the stadium’s staff will be hitting the streets on Monday August 18th to sign people up and distribute contest and event information. Some of the prizes include “Sweet” tickets to an NFL football game and the Stadium Shootout Basketball Tournament, dinner in a stadium loft, a stadium team building event, NCAA basketball tournament tickets, and a group of tickets to Kidsfaire. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest.
“We have had an incredible first two years since opening in August 2006 and wanted to celebrate our success with the people who make it possible, our guests. The prizes we are giving away tie into our varied event schedule and we are very excited about the new and different entertainment options we have been able to schedule for the coming season.” said Global Spectrum’s Patrick Talty, Assistant General Manager.
To correspond with its year 3 “Sweetest Season,” Global Spectrum recently announced some new shows and events coming later this year and into 2009.
