STADIUM'S ADVENTURE BOOT CAMPERS REPORT FOR DUTY WITH ARIZONA NATIONAL GUARD
Boot Camp Attendees to Run Through National Guard Workout Routine
(Glendale, Ariz. – September 3, 2008) Global Spectrum announced today that Peoria Adventure Boot Camp Arizona has teamed up with the Arizona National Guard for a world class work out this Thursday, September 4th from 6:30 p.m. -to- 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will take part in training tools designed specifically by the Arizona National Guard.
"The Arizona Army National guard is proud to support Peoria Adventure Boot Camp. The Guard supports many relief efforts around the state including forest fires, floods and other natural disasters and is a vital part of the community. We are excited to extend our support to Peoria Adventure Boot Camp,” said, staff sergeant Travis Buchmann. “We will show the "campers" some of the basic challenges our new warriors go through in a traditional boot camp. In order to accomplish this The Guard has a portable Leadership Reaction Course (LRC). The LRC is used to incorporate brainpower, teamwork and athletic ability. We also have a mobile 25 foot rock wall that helps build confidence with heights, personal equipment, and motivation."
Boot camp organizers created the partnership to add to the camp’s value and fun for camp participants.
"Boot Camp seems to be a common label for today's fitness classes and we have a unique opportunity to have the National Guard take us through a true, military style, regimen. It will be an honor for us to be trained by those that serve our country,” said Lisa Olona, owner of Peoria Adventure Boot Camp. “We have been fortunate to team up with the University of Phoenix Stadium since March, and we are even more fortunate to add the Arizona National Guard to our list of partnerships."
The next boot camp takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday September 22nd from 6:30pm-7:30pm. The cost for the four-week session is $225 ($18.75 per class) for three days a week and $160 ($20.00 per class) for two days a week.
