(Glendale, Ariz. – June 10, 2010) Global Spectrum, managers of University of Phoenix Stadium, and the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission, announced today that viewing parties for the USA vs. England FIFA World Cup™ match will be taking place at the McDuffy’s in Peoria and in Chandler. Phoenix/Glendale is currently among 18 finalist cities which are included in the USA’s bid, submitted to FIFA on May 14, 2010, to host the FIFA World Cup™ in either 2018 or 2022.  FIFA will decide on December 2, 2010 which countries will be awarded the event in each of these years.  As part of the efforts to secure the games, the USA Bid Committee is asking that people sign the online petition at www.gousabid.com.
