Our Green Mission

Global Spectrum in partnership with Sierra Waste, Gorilla Equipment, the Arizona Cardinals and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) partnered to develop a recycling initiative to take place at University of Phoenix Stadium.

The recycling program at University of Phoenix Stadium includes: recycling containers along all event areas including show floor, club lounges, concourses and lofts inside the Stadium. Please check the signage on the recycling containers to ensure you’re recycling the proper items such as plastic, glass and aluminum.

Inside the stadium, 33 recycling bottle containers will be located on the main level, 28 on the terrace level and eight in the club level.  In addition, a special countertop opening for recyclable products will be provided inside each loft at University of Phoenix Stadium.

On game days, fans that tailgate in the parking lots surrounding the stadium will have access to special recycling plastic bags to dispose of their paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and glass. The Great Lawn will have gondolas and recycling trash cans and at each entrance onto the stadium plaza, marked recycling bins with Cardinals logos will be provided for fans.
