University of Phoenix Stadium is located in Glendale, Arizona which is 16 miles (approximately 24 minute drive) west of downtown Phoenix. The stadium should be accessed from AZ Loop 101 freeway. Please refer to the directions to determine the most convenient exit to utilize from AZ Loop 101 depending upon your planned or permit parking location.

University of Phoenix Stadium has a total of 14,000 available parking spaces for event attendees located in numerous individual lots. The type of event you are attending (Cardinals / Non-Cardinals) and whether or not you have purchased a pre-sold parking permit will help you decide which parking area is right for you.

Non-Cardinals Event Parking

Policies may differ for non-Cardinals events that take place at the stadium, however in general, paid parking is open to all guests in on-site stadium lots both with or without a parking permit. General parking fees are $20 - $50 per space, however please check event information pages on the stadium website to confirm pricing & availability for specific events.

Cardinals Game Day Parking
On Cardinals game days, parking in stadium managed parking lots in Sportsman’s Park is restricted to only ticket holders with pre-sold permits. No single-event cash parking is available in on-site stadium lots on Cardinals game days.
There are numerous, convenient parking options for fans without pre-sold permits in one of the many independently managed lots adjacent to the stadium area including in Westgate as well as in lots at the Tanger Outlet Mall. Pricing in independent parking lots range from $10 per space to $30 per space. Availability and pricing of independently managed parking lots is subject to change without notice.

ADA Parking

All Sportsman's Park lots and most other game day parking lots have signed ADA parking spots. On Cardinals game days vehicles must have a valid Cardinals parking hangtag to enter Sportsman’s Park or offsite gameday parking areas. A valid state-issued hangtag or license plate is required to park in a signed ADA spot. Please contact the Arizona Cardinals Ticket Office at (602) 379-0102 for more information on ADA parking on game days. For most non-Cardinals stadium events a valid paid parking ticket along with a state-issued hangtag or license plate is required to park in a signed ADA spot. For mega events, including the Fiesta Bowl, please contact the respective organization in charge of the event or visit our upcoming events page and click the desired event.


On Cardinals game days stadium managed lots open four (4) hours prior to kickoff for both vehicles and guests. Lot opening times vary for non-Cardinals events. Guests are encouraged to check the event information pages on the stadium website to confirm parking information for specific events.


The Uber Zone, a partnership between Uber and the Arizona Cardinals, helps provide convenient transportation and access to the stadium for fans attending games.
The designated pick-up/drop-off point at the stadium for Uber is located at 95th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, just south of the stadium. At the conclusion of games, fans utilizing Uber should exit Gate 1 and head south on 95th Avenue to the pick up point.
Fans may also utilize the Uber app while at University of Phoenix Stadium to receive walking directions to and from the Uber Zone. Guests arriving via Uber should be familiar with the Stadium Bag Policy.


The designated Ride & Limo pick-up/drop-off area is located at 95th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, just south of the stadium. At the conclusion of games guests should exit at Gate 1 and head south on 95th Avenue to the pick-up area. All guests should be familiar with the Stadium Bag Policy and Rideshare-Limo map.


The taxi pick up area (post event ONLY), for football games and most other Mega events, is located on the southeast corner of Maryland and 95th Avenues, just south of the Renaissance Hotel. A designated taxi cab/rideshare drop off area is located along Bethany Home Road, South of Gate 1, near the corner of 95th Ave and Bethany Home Road.

Tailgating is allowed during most events at the University of Phoenix Stadium. However, please check the event information page on the stadium website to confirm if tailgating is allowed for specific events. Please see below for general tailgating guidelines.

Lot Opening Times

Carparks open four (4) hours prior to kickoff for Cardinals games and close one (1) hour post game. Tailgating activities are allowed from the opening of Sportsman’s Park until kickoff only

Space Saving

Parking is on a first come first serve basis in the appropriately designated lots. The saving of parking spaces will not be permitted. Groups desiring to tailgate together should arrive together.

Oversized Vehicles

Each oversized vehicles must have a valid “Oversized” hangtag or parking pass for access. Maximum length of vehicle, including tow(s) not to exceed 50 feet

Permitted Space for Tailgating

Tailgating must be limited to the area directly in front of or behind the vehicle. The use of empty stalls is prohibited for any use other than vehicle parking. Drive aisles and fire lanes need to be kept clear at all times for free access of emergency vehicles.

Grills, BBQ Equipment, Cooking

Natural gas or propane grills are permitted in Sportsman’s Park and other Cardinals parking areas. Open flames, charcoal grills and oil fryers are not permitted.

Tents / Canopies

One (1) 10’ by 10’ shade tent will be permitted per group for use on the Great Lawn or on other grass areas within Sportsman’s Park. Fire lanes in parking lots must remain clear of any tents and no tents may be set up on pedestrian walkways or sidewalks.

Alcoholic Beverages

The stadium and Cardinals are committed to a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans in attendance. The Fan Code of Conduct and all stadium policies related to the sale & consumption of alcoholic beverages will also be enforced in stadium parking lots.


Small portable electric generators (6500W or less) are permitted. Electrical cords must not extend across any drive lanes, walkways or sidewalks or create trip hazards.

Commercial Activity

Unauthorized commercial activity of any type is strictly prohibited. Soliciting or the collection of contributions, vending, distribution of flyers, or other materials is not permitted.

Prohibited Items & Activities

• Bicycles / Skateboards
• Glass containers
• Rollerblading
• Motorized scooters
• Golf carts, segways, skateboards, scooters, and other non-licensed motorized vehicles
• Weapons of any kind
• Fireworks
• Drones, model aircraft, kites, any other remote controlled or tethered flying objects
• Solicitation of any kind
• Selling access to a tailgate party to members of the general public either in advance of or on the day of an event.
• Selling of products or merchandise. Only Rojo Hospitality staff is authorized to sell products or merchandise in the parking lots on game days.
• Banners or signage recognizing businesses or products.
• The placing of flyers/brochures on vehicles
• Ball playing in the parking lots and roadways. This is a safety hazard; many injuries occur as a result of these activities.
• Excessive or underage consumption of alcohol
• Portable public address systems and large portable radios and sounds systems used at excessive volume or playing explicit music
• Tailgating after the game or event has begun or post game
Sportsman’s Park and other Cardinals parking areas are patrolled by parking lot staff, security staff and local law enforcement officers. Tampering or removing of any parking lot infrastructure is strictly prohibited. The Arizona Cardinals Code of Conduct will be enforced throughout all parking areas. Along with season tickets, parking hangtags can and will be revoked for noncompliance of Cardinals parking regulations and/or Code of Conduct.


The University of Phoenix Stadium and Arizona Cardinals encourage all guests to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Please dispose of waste in receptacles and do your part to recycle plastic, glass, and aluminum in properly marked recycling containers on the stadium concourse and bags for tailgaters in Sportsman’s Park.
